Hi all, just joined so thought I would tell a little about myself. I've owned my current Range Rover for about 20 years, unfourtunatly it's been off the road for about 18 of them. I took it off the road originaly to fit the 4236 Perkins diesel, but at that time I was working as a Marine engineer and was spending a lot of time away from home. It's been in a dry shed most of this time so is in fairly sound nick. I chopped the back off a while ago as I need a pick up. I now feel the time has come to finish the thing so thought I would do some research which led me to this site. Forgot to mention I live in West Cornwall (which has probably got more to do with the job taking so long, we do'nt like to rush things.) Also I now work on vee 20 Jenbacher gas engines burning methane gas as drawn from landfill sites so I'm not a complete twit when it comes to using a spanner. Any way that's enough twaddle from me, here's hoping we can help each other sometime. Happy New Year everyone.

Alright mate.Another classic owner and done a bit of time on landfills-mostly breaking landys!
