I’d be as well just buying a smaller click one I think, given the price of the digital ones. Thanks for the offer though.I have a Draper/Sealey(?) one. It works but it's fiddly to adjust - need to dig out the instructions each time - and invariably has timed out and gone to sleep by the time I've got the fastener tight enough. I've subsequently bought more standard click ones. I am quite jealous of a mate's digital Snap On wrench though.
D'you want to borrow it to see how you get on with one?
Now you have put a “wrench” in the works. I was all set to just get a click one.I prefer the snap of a proper torque wrench, rather than the beep of an electronic torque device. They are pretty much bang on though, accurate enough to calibrate an old fashioned snappy torque wrench.
My smallest click (3/8" drive) goes down to 12 Nm, the digital starts at 40 Nm.@boguing…Whats the lowest setting yours goes to ??
Edited, someone must've turned off numlock when I wasn't looking.Does that mean it goes to zero![]()

Mmm. I need something that goes down to 5Nm. Which is probably finger tight !!!Edited, someone must've turned off numlock when I wasn't looking.
Lol..I’ve got one of those scale things in my toolbox I got to set up the front swivelsIn which case make the axis of the screw horizontal, hang 2.5kg 20cm out along a ratchet spanner and when it stops turning and it's also horizontal you're done.
You could cheat and use a springy luggage scale.
