having trouble starting my landy have re done the carbs cleaned up jets and replaced fuel pump what coud be cousing this!!

if i put fuel into engine or carbs starts fine!

is yer needle valve working? are you getting fuel up to the carb?

lay orf the ATF will ya.. he sed it starts if he bungs fuel doon the carbatooter

Lift pump or float needle .... them's my first guesses.
I will be happy to share the reward with Slob.

ok ii will try that today do i need to take carb off for that or can i just unscrew a jet

Yep you are probably right but i just thinking about things breaking down under load like the condenser etc.
It's always worth doing / eliminating the easy stuff before taking the carb apart.
