I have a high compression discovery v8 engine running on twin su carbs and lpg, do i need to change my standard valves to cope with the lpg?

We've run our D2 V8 on LPG for just on 57k miles on LPG.

Valves originally were just ground in when we fitted the short engine, they weren't refaced or anything like that.

We had the heads off to change gaskets for better quality ones at 43K miles and the valves were fine, just ground them in again.

We do run on semi-synthetic diesel oil instead of regular engine oil.

Ahhh well mine was rebuilt in september and has done about 6/7 thousand miles just on lpg no petrol at all

Petrol on start-up on ours, but this weather it is very quick to change over to LPG.
