Hey, so Itook the beast for a little ooff road session earlier with a mate of mine, and I noticed when I put it into low diff, my exhaust was smoking like ####!

In high diff, no smoke at all, so I'm stumped, any ideas?

When you travel slower and rev the engine you will see more smoke, especially under load because there not enough air around the exhaust to spread out the smoke (I'm sure there's a better way to say that).

When your in low, your really going slow so you will see it more.

So I haven't broken me car yet? Lol

That's good to hear!

Just a thought after Xmas I want to get a straight through decat exhaust, will that make smoking less or more apparent, or no difference?

Airflow or slipstream ;) Faster you go, more waft to take the smoke away.

Whit smoke is not good.. unless you got the exhaust wet on the outside and it's just steam. Steam from the actual exhaust might be head gasket going  unless it's just been fired up and the system is boiling off the condesation ;)

Diff.

I used to have a fair bit of black smoke when i booted it under load but since decatting and sticking the straight through on it seems to have all but dissipated under load and runs a lot cleaner- a lot louder but a lot cleaner
