Remove the manifold. Good socket steady pressure.

Bit of update regarding the stop solenoid on the F.I.P. Firstly thanks to senior member Wammers for the advice . Yes it is possible with a socket , but neccesary to persuade it on with knockin stick bit risky but it worked .Took out the plunger of the solenid put i t back together fired 1st time . Will order parts Monday . Question for everyone who knows ,what if any could the problem be if i leave it like that??????

When ignition is switched off quantity control servo goes to zero, this is what actually stops the engine not the cut off solenoid. The cut off solenoid is a back up in case the quantity control servo fails. I would not leave it like that for to long. If quantity servo fails you will have a runaway. Did you check if solenoid works. If it does there can be reasons why it is not being pulled by the ECU. Diagnostics needed in that case.

ok understood thanks , No did not check if it works:( ,wos in a state of euphoria after getting the little bleeder out .now its put back together and havin a beer i order a new one and the diagnostics Monday ( if needed ) .
