went to tixover today, the first time going off road and putting my disco 200 through its passes.

got well and truly stuck trying to go up that boggy hill but was gd fun using the winch and pulleys

ow and thanks to all the pros who helped pull me out lol

Sounds like you had a grand time of it  I've yet to try my Disco off road; a grassy field used as a car park today doesn't count!

Diff.

Well, I tried to get there, got up early checked all levels, good to go, got less than a mile to the gate and started to hear a strange noise, stopped in a gate way to check, nothing obvious, carried on a bit further but still there, sounded like a rear wheel bearing noise, didn't want to risk it so limped home, stripped o/s/r hub down and found hub nut loose, checked bearings, seem ok, rebuilt, just waiting for a socket to torque up hub nut correctly to find out if that's all it was, fingers crossed. Glad you had a good day, guess you were up in the clay pit when you got stuck, it's all good fun. Maybe next time I might make it.
