Hi all, I recently acquired a 2004 Range Rover Big Body with the BMW 4.4 engine. VIN SALLMAMA34A16357. I took it for a diagnostic check up, to be told that only BMW can do the diagnostics. Can anyone recommend a diagnostic tool that I could buy that will work on this model. Thanks in advance from South Africa.

Icarsoft does all the basic stuff

Was the 'all comms' for the early ones? Rings a bell

Others would know, but it maybe that the BMW INPA software works on that year, it's a free download, just need to buy the cable I think.

Pretty sure INPA works and also Storey Wilson came up with something for that year. Check his RSW website if you aren't up to making a cable for INPA. @stustrong had INPA working.
