Hi all,

Tomorrow a friend and I might be in the devils punch bowl area, hind head down the A3.

looking for some green lanes we might be able to tick off whilst we are there. Land cruiser and disco 4. Nothing too serious just some basics whilst in the area.

anyone any ideas? Obviously I’ve seen the byways marked on the map.

thank you in advance.

Plenty round that way, be warned though, they're tight and knarly!!!

Walk them first, I lost a wing mirror an needed 4 blokes hanging off the back corner of my D1 to stop me stocking the roof in and the trees will take your paint clean off!!!

I do believe this was on that same trip....

We should do that series of ones again, but the other way round - drive down that big step etc

Thanks for the heads up.
Any notable problems from the locals?

Sometimes you get some agro as you come along the sandy tracks then out over the tarmac hit that enda up back at the hind head car park. Just go slow along that bit and yield for bikers and pedestrians and you will be fine.

Otherwise this time of you I doubt there will be many walkers out those lanes are very muddy

That's the one :)

As soon as I am back on the road mate we will all have to get back out for another tour

I think Davey remade the route in both directions and sent them to us, you being more Northerly means we should do some Sussex lanes and Kentish too.

There really isn’t much in West Sussex - need to head East Sussex and kent.

Deffo, late winter or spring would be good!
