On way back from hols from lakes and wheel bearing is making horrible noise.
I was lucky to be passing a family member in derby so have limped there.
I am in need of two bearings for the rear left of a discovery 1 300 tdi.
If there is anyone out there who has some close to de55
I would be greatfull.

If it is making noises it may need a stub axle as well

Very true. I will strip down first thing tomorrow morn to see.
If there is anyone near by that could sell me a pair if bearings I would be very greatfull just to get us home. Then I will be able to fix.

Used to be a 'Jolly Rodger' at a garage I use to sell tools to,when I was with MAC Tools, he always had shiny tools and was a 'very nice man' and loved all the young apprentices under him !!
