Heading out with a couple of people on Sunday, starting in North Derbyshire and working south.

Only running one group and keeping the group to a sensible size.

This trip is for modified vehicles only with experienced drivers - I'm not normally fussy about who I take laning, however, there are a few lanes we are doing on this trip that standard vehicles and standard tyres will not cope with, and, we really just want a nice quiet trundle round Derbyshire, not start messing around winching people up stuff if it can be avoided.

If you want an argument about the capability of "standard" vehicles and tyres then do a :search: - it's been covered many times before :p

(Those inexperienced in laning or who have standard vehicles, i will no doubt be organising another trip in a month or so and will make sure that one is friendly for all :D )

And Steve & Jo are perfect examples that not all newbees are idiots, they were great company and good sports with snow bashing :D

Oh and thanks Matt (of the Ginga Beard variety) for doing the gates to save me the hassle :)

As you'll remember, some of us never got to do Hollinsclough due to hassle we had last time, and I for one certainly didn't fancy reversing back down it, again, hence the polite request for non-standard vehicles...

I did mention in the initial post that this topic has been covered to death, and, that we don't normally have any issues taking standard vehicles and/or novices, we just wanted an easy run out for the day.

And there is no way a standard would have coped with some of that snow. I had to back off in my Series to let Mark and Steve have a go at the snow bashing as my lower ground clearance was an issue with it. (That, and we all wanted a go at it 'cus it was emense fun!)
