:nopics:

your idea of a small dent may be someone elses idea of a big un.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

arnt landrovers made to be dented,

or are they so f**kin speshel....

or are they used as chelsea`s tratter...

Burning it seems a little extreme under the circumstances. Personally I would avoid the wanton destruction of such a vehicle.

Instead I would strip every useable part from the vehicle and ebay it... It is possible (though not likely) that having experienced a small dent to the bumper the doors will still fit. These are in great demand by those who have tried wading in their FLs.

While I appreciate that you may have serious doubts about the wisdom of said advice, getting as much back for the few remaining undamaged parts of your vehicle should constitute a priority which can then be realised financially and redeployed on a more sensible vehicle purchase.

I did that to my first disco. Fuccker was roten as hell. So I stripped it down sold all the bits off made a about £5000, could nevere of sold it for that. After that I took the chassis to the scrappy, cutting it up then sent off the v5 to dvla declaring I broke it up they Where happy enough.

You can't do that anymore - DVLA won't accept self declared scrap vehicles - you have to take the chassis to an authorised vehicle breaker who will take the V5 off you.

They are, however, perfectly happy with you buying a pre-1973 tax free Series license off eBay and slapping it on your brand new defender to cheat the tax and insurance system.

Anyone need a definition of irony?

sorn it then send the v5 back to swansea and tell them some pikey knicked the remains of the uninsured vehicle out yer back garden.... and no you didnt waste yer time reporting the theft to plod.
