Hi, I am new to this.

I am looking at getting either a defender 90 or a discovery 3 my budget is £10,000 ideally less then 12 years old and with less then 100,000 miles. I am under 20 years old therefore I know insurance will be high but ideally I want the cheaper and better option.

That's like saying do you want a rough around the edges nympho girlfriend or someone to take home to the parents? You can't really compare the two, if you will be doing a lot more road use and prefer comfort then go for the disco but if you want a land rover that's harder than chuck norris and clint Eastwood offspring then get the defender and add plenty of security and mods
