My Defender has started wheel wobble when turning right above 40mph. Straight line ...great. Left very slight wobble.
Now done the wheel balance bit etc, new steering damper etc.
Going to check the pre load on the swivels next but do you have to fully strip down or can you check by removing track rod end only leaving wheel bearings in etc?
Pre load I believe is 1.4 to 1.7 Kg. Removing shim obviously increases pre load on the bearing.
Any tips guys before I start tomorrow?
