Standing looking in the engine bay from the front of the motor, look just to the mid-right of the engine, from the top. There's a domed cap held on by two (or is it three...?) 10mm bolts. When you take the bolts out and the top off, there's a small filter underneath which you lift out. The new filter comes with a big 'O' ring for the cap. It's very easy to change, should only take a few minutes. It's what makes the 'winding down' whirring sound when you switch the engine off. I think it spins at about 13,000rpm max.. Have you changed the main oil filter yet? That's a real doozey to change, you can get it off reasonably easily, just wait until you try and line the threads up to get the new one on. Think 'Indiarubber man'..
