Hello, I'm a new member, still finding my feet on the forum.
Wondered if anybody could possibly help.m?
Over the past year I have carried out a lot of work on my defender 90, I haven't messed about or touched the electrics as i don't have a clue about that side.
That said I took the 90 out for a spin to see how the new steering box and brake servo were after fitting and found that I had no indicators and the fuel gauge had no electrical feed to it, it did not register the £30 of diesel that went in.
Is this a simple relay that needs replacing?

Do your hazzard lights work? If they dont either it could be the indocator relay, as for the fuel guage i have no 8dea

There's a black earth wire that fits to the top of the brake pedal box on mine, did you forget to fit it changing the servo maybe? That's the earth for the dash area. When I forgot mine I remember the indicators and other stuff not working correctly.

Ahhh that might be it, could I have got these the wrong way round?
