Chuckled at this ' Posh Land Rover Defenders are the hottest wheels among car thieves'. Surely they can't be serious?

Its surprising how many LR owners have no added security and its criminal that there is one cable that all thieves know about, and LR, that kills the alarm. LR implemented a work around as standard only in 2012 I believe.

I really should get round to putting an alarm on mine  but I've got a gear lock and a key operated immobiliser so its better than nothing. Oh and it looks like a pile of crap, that helps too

Renault Laguna lmao really a freaking Renault! I thought you couldn't give these things away.

Mine is currently Discloc, pedal lock, isolator, another key switch you wont find in a hurry that immobilises a couple of things and microdot.
on its way tracker/alarm and an etching kit, and as soon as I can scrape the cash together a decent security bollard on the front of the drive.

So starting the defender on a morning is something like this?
