Does anyone know if the britpart and other 'copies' of the defender military bumper are made to the same spec as the MoD bumpers - are they as strong? I need a replacement! thanks

I've got a military bumper on mine and they're no stronger than standard bumpers. Still made of thin tin. You're better off spending your money on one of pressbrakes heavy duty bumpers, they're only 40 quid and are far superior. I'll be getting one when I've got spare cash

Yep or an ARB bumper if you don't mind spending the extra £1000 :D

sorry dont make them anymore

Go to your local fab shop with the old bumper and tell them you want it made from 1/4" folded sheet :) Shouldn't cost a lot

do they have a slot for tow pin front centre? My old 90 had a military bumper and I found it very useful to use the slot to push and position heavy trailers (I have an adapter that connects the tow pin to the eye of a sankey trailer.)
