Hello all.
Firstly excuse my lack of knowledge of defenders.
I have a D2 and used to have a 59 S2.
The problem is one a friend is having.
It is a 2000 TD5 Defender.
Been off the road for a number of years and he is putting it back on now.
After the batteries were changed the immobiliser has now kicked in and will not let him start it.
It has no central locking. and no plip Fob.
I have a Nanocom for my D2 so could get the unlock codes for defender. but as i understand it in order to get into the 10AS you need it to be mobilised??
i have read about the EKA code procedure with the ignition key.
Is this the best way to go with it? or are there any other options?
Also seen on ebay guys are giving the service of, you send them the 10AS and they will code 2 Fobs for you. would this be any good?
