I have just bought a 1995 Defender 300TDi. While driving it the other day
it jumped out of high range whilst I was on a freeway offramp with my
foot off the accelerator. Only time it has done it so far. Should I be
worried or is it possible I had not engaged high range properly a few
days before whilst I was testing it?

I'd see if it does it again. On my Disco it once jumped out of Low in a
similar situation, but I think it's because it was never quite "in" and it's
not even thought about it since.

I'd see if it does it again. On my Disco it once jumped out of Low in a

not even thought about it since.
