Hello,

My defender 90 2.5 petrol 1986 won't start, electrics worked up to now but now when I turn the key even that does not work (no lights on the dash) it is like if there is no battery in the defender.
Battery is perfect no problems so the problem should be between the battery and ignition key.
Is there someone who could help me?

Must I check this with key turned to on?

Check 1. off, 2. ign on, 3. ign start. Suggest you also check your fuse box too and all wiring connections. Remember, your Ninety is of 1986 vintage, the wiring is at least 37 years old and will not have had an easy life. If lucky it will just be a dicky/crudded up connection or failed switch or poor earth connection.
 
First place to look after checking battery and its connections is the main power connection at the starter motor. Every electrical power to other items feeds from here.
 
have you checked the battery (you say it's perfect but how have you arrived at this conclusion,voltage check ,CCA test etc .to assume will get you know where,results please of test on battery you conducted ) and it's connections to ground on the frame below battery tray and at the starter motor terminals
also check connection from chassis ground to engine this does involve removing connection and checking for corrosion where they are crimped by the terminal lug and where they are attached to the chassis
 
You can. However you may as well have it off for first check. Have you got a voltage checker? A 12v bulb in a holder with a croc clip to go to earth and a pointer on the other line to go to what you want tested is good.
Be aware that the main large wire from batt to starter can carry a lot of current and sparks will fly if you earth it by accident. A clean of contacts in this area may sort your issue but best done with batt connection off.
