I m been offer a defender winch bumper,has anyone fitted a defender winch bumper to a 300 tdi discovery? If you have was it an easy job, did you have to do any mods, if so what? Also does anyone have a disco winch bumper for sale Bristol in area?

Defender bumper won't fit to a disco because it's a different chassis and the front bumper will get in te way. so unless he's giving it away for pennies and your really good with welder I wouldn't bother. As any savings you make will be lost in the cost of modifying it to fit.

I bought an old Disco recently and it has a lovely galvanised Defender front bumper firmly attached to the chassis.

I could check to see how this was done, but at a glance it looks like a fit.
