Does anyone know if lr have different chassis for defenders mine is a csw with a gvw of 3 ton is it the same chassis for the 3.5ton one what is the difference if any .

I pretty sure fenders all have the same Chassis pal, no doubt someone will be along to confirm or deny this. ;););):

:welcome2: Seems like you have a big job brewing... maybe post some pics of your Landy as we all like pics :) It helps to see what you are talking about and age of it, engine etc helps.
 
Thanks guys thats great i thought so,anyone know if its possible to change it's gvw to the 3.5 t. is there any difference to the rolling chassis or is it body dependant .Once again thanks for welcoming me .
 
Is that the only difference, does the suspension need uprating too. what about the logbook and id weight plate under the bonnet. would vosa have to confirm the uprate or any mot station.Many thanks Darren

Mine has van sides is 3499 kg on the log book. I think the only difference is that mine is classed as light commercial and i guess yours would be estate.
 
No it's always been a csw,I think i thats what its down on the log book.And the condition of all the components are similar.Thanks Daz
