Hi guys

I have a 3.5 L V8 defender 90 that runs very well on the level and when going through left turns. However when I turn right the engine dies and then restarts when the 90 is level again. I have done a preliminary check on the electrics and everything appears to be normal.

I m new to land rovers and as such I’m a little lost on what to check next. Does anyone have any ideas? All help much appreciated.

Thanks

Land Dog.

Hi Guys,

Thank you for your replies. I found the problem to be a faulty K lead from the coil to the distributor. So much for my preliminary check on electrics 2 weeks ago. Oh well we live and we learn.

Thanks again
