hi i had a set of coilsprings on my 90 which i took for sandblast to re paint but now i have a problem i do not know which is which they have a sort of a serial number on them....anyone got any ideas:eek:

Just curious, why would you bother repainting your springs? If the paint is chipped off and they are rusting, they will need replacing sometime soon.

them numbers ull probably be the part numbers.if there standard springs they,ll be
front drivers side nrc9446
front passenger side nrc9447
rear drivers side nrc9448
rear passencer side nrc9449

as above and heavier ones on rear also ;)

put +2'' britpart on my 90 td5 was told by mm4x4 they are not side specific only front smaller than rears. but saying that driver side on mine is lower by about 14mm . but thats another britpart saga waiting to be resolved. if any one has had crap britpart springs can you let me know what or how it got sorted.
according to mm britpart and bearmach springs are made by same firm? and it is " very rare they get a problem"
thanks

well guys i started a rebuild lately and just wanted to give a different colour to the springs so i sand blasted them to repaint them ...i was told by another guy that the tall ones go on the driver's side 10x for all your help hope to be able to post pics of the process in coming days:D

yer...um.... i kinda repainted myn when i rebuilt myn and in my haste got left and right muddled up. i think it sits how it should, just depends if you looking from the front or back lol. its on the list. i herd its just on hight but weight is a nice ponder...
