After a little searching on my issue it seems that someone posted a similar question some time ago but didn't get an answer. The tie bar on the front off side on my Defender seems to have different size holes to the steering box, also where the end of the tie bar fits into the other piece there is a load of clearance which looks like there should be some kind of bush or spacer in there. Can someone tell me if this should be like this or should it have bushes and spacers fitted. Thanks.

no bush it has a large hole to allow for tolerances,ie tie bar fits without pulling on bottom of box
