A friend of mine bought a 4.6 defender auto with full wolf accessories, I have never seen a defender so kitted out and sound so nice .... I've attached a photo it's a beauty.

Is it set up for road uses with hard suspension and big anti roll bars

What goodies has it got

It has a 3inch lift and insa turbos so not really set up for the road but it doesn't look like it's ever turned a wheel in anger. It's got full wolf kit even the proper wolf hardtop, in the back got all the relevant saws and stuff mounted to the bulkhead it's a real tidy motor chap who bought it says he's seen receipts for 30k. Even had a new bulkhead fitted as part of the 4.6 conversion

I think he meant why are there saws fitted there in the first place? Hardly standard landy recovery kit

It's the hardtop that was fitted to bog standard army land rovers when they were upgraded as part of project tithonus. Nothing specific to a wolf at all

But am I right in saying most wolfs are fitted with this type of hardtop, I have seen a few army hard tops and only ever seen this type fitted on wolfs

All army landys have these fitted now. They were all upgraded as pat of project tithonus, including the wolf's. The older 2.5na's are being sold off to auction now and being replaced with wolfs so you won't see many older landys kicking about in mil service
