Hi there,
The side windows on my 2000 110 are junk. The slide closures are loose and falling apart, the lining is old and a mess, the glass rattles (previous owner even silicone-sealed several of them shut).

I've been looking for replacement windows, ideally tilting/gullwing windows that flip up.

Unfortunately Tinkerbell appears to have non-common window sizes - or maybe I'm just too dumb to figure it out (if you can give me some tips for what to search for here, it'd be appreciated - I've not had any luck). It's an Australian army (ADF) "model CM 2/3 Defender 110" with some customization done for the military, and I'm not sure whether the windows also have odd measurements.

The visible glass measures 89x35cm (inside the frame). Does anyone have any experience with replacing these? Is this a standard measurement? Any recommendations for gullwing windows? I'm looking for something like this.

Why not put new felts in the windows to stop them rattling? Check out Britannia Restorations on Youtube. I did mine a few weeks ago and only thing Idid differently was to soak the felt seals and Iron them into a V shape t omake them easier to fit.

I put new felt in mine too. I haven't watched the video mentioned above. However, I should imagine you'd have to remove the window frame by drilling out all of the pop rivets. It's not as bad as it sounds though! I replaced them with closed head pop rivets to prevent water ingress. I could check where I bought the felt strips, if you're interested. A little bit of work, but a hell of a lot cheaper than new windows. You'd be taking them out either way.

Thanks guys.

I had considered caravan windows, but get blank looks when I ask around for them. I wanted to know first whether the window sizes I have are somehow standard, since there seem to be a lot of aftermarket gullwing replacements for Defenders, but either for the longer 1100mm (?) windows or a shorter variant. Mine seem to fall right in the middle somehow.

I looked at e.g. the Masai 4x4 windows but (a) they're incredibly expensive, (b) they don't seem to exist in my size, and (c) they're butt-ugly anyway. If there is no easily available gullwing replacement, I'm going to go hunting for a custom caravan window shop.

I watched that felt replacement video a while ago; it's plan C if I can't find anything else.

Last question - the window latches also are pretty broken - the springs on most of them are worn out or missing, they stick, and the bolts don't reach the frame. If I just replace the felt, does anyone replacements for the slidey bolt things?
