My 4.0 v8 range rover runs on gas 99% of the time so can i get rid of the cats? if so where is the best place to get de catted pipes from ??
thanks for your help.

I bought my de-cat pipes for my 3.9 disco from island 4x4 for £70, a little mod was required to put the lambda sensors back in. I've got the earlier hotwire system where both lambdas are ahead of the cats.

How easy is that mod?? I think my cats are fubar and as I'm LPG figure for £70 I'd be better off decatting..

oh and are they as easy to fit a I think they should be based on the average exhaust fitter I've met? I've had my manifolds off so that end is no mystery to me but no idea how they are held on the other end..

replace the standard manifolds with 4 branch and a y pipe easy bolt together you can buy them pre holes fro the lambdas.
for a p38a i would just cut and weld a piece of tube in but make sure when you take for a mot you tell the tester it is on gas not petrol as they test as presented but most switch back to petrol as unsure how to test on gas
