Left my 2003 Discovery 2 for three days, came back and won't open with radio key. Can open with the key with no alarms and a padlock showing on the warning lights (Immobilised?). Battery good, lights work but indicators or hazards, engine obviously dead. Checked fuzes. Any help greatly appreciated.

Most likely power supply is interrupted to the ECU so it's immobilised.
You will need to plug it in to the computer thingy I think in order to get it started.
There may be a way of entering the code with the key but you will have to get the code from your vehicle log
 
Thanks for that. I was hoping for an easy fix but looks like a trip to the vet. I don't have a computer/analyser.
Last time the work D2 did that the boss put the jump lead on the back of the fuel pump from the telehandler and completely melted the fuel pump...🤣

It needed plugged in and a new load of wires and fuel pump.

Thank you, I'll certainly take a look at the BCU & IDM - especially as it's been very wet and the truck has been standing. It's a shame because I thought I'd found my forever Landy, considering the very, very low mileage (genuine). Regarding my introduction I have filled in the details required and gone to the 'Introduce yourself' page but couldn't find a way to enter a post.
 
You have to disconnect the battery before uplugging any of them and if you replace the fusebox(must be from a facelift D2 to fit) after the swap and battery reconnection turn ignition on 2 and let it so 5 minutes before you crank it oterwise it might immobilise again... if it's not the IDM for the BCU you need nanocom or similar as it needs programming to work no way around that.... always disconnect battery negative lead first and reconnect it last

Thank you again. I have removed the glovebox and find condensation on all the units inside, so that probably to problem. I guess first port of call is to put a heater in and try to dry it out?
