When I finally got around to replacing the speedo bulbs, the LCD ones stopped working. The first time, (I replaced every bulb in the speedo) one of the LCD bulbs came on. I took it back out, changed all the LCD bulbs but now none come on, and the HEVAC LCD has switched off.

All the other lights work though, any ideas?

HeVAC lamps are notorious for failing too....check them out in similar fashion...our you may had disturbed some wiring to the unit when you played with the instrument binnacle.

Is there an easy way to get to the HEVAC bulbs? I guess I could take off the binnacle again, make sure all the wires are seated firmly in the plug.

This is the guy who took fuses out of the BECM fuse box, possibly with the ignition on if he was buggering about with dash lamps, now has no central locking. God knows what he has played with.

Ignition wasn't on. The dash lights were a separate issue before the lock issue happened.

I suggest you download RAVE and study the wring diagrams. If you have shorted something you may have big problems. Nothing is a separate issue everything comes from the BECM.

yep l did that after fitting a new receiver to the radio accidently knocked the dimmer spent all day trying everything but it was the dimmer pmsl
