Has anyone tried to make their own?

I'm a welder/fabricator by trade and wondered if there are any detailed drawings of the shock towers as mine are starting to show there age.

I've never seen any drawings on-line - I can't imagine anyone sharing them if they've gone to the trouble of measuring up as it's not worth the effort unless your're going to make & sell them commercially.
There's various companies making replacement damper turrets - often cheaper than second good genuine items. You can also get variants for shorter or longer stroke dampers.

Cheers guys it was only a long shot. Some of the aftermarket or replacement ones are either too expensive or don't look man enough so I think I'll remove one and replicate it.

I have been working on cars in a scrap yard at the top of a pile 5 cars high, but nowadays that is not allowed.
But no two scrapyards are the same. Some will take anything off, others will only take certain stuff off then expect to sell the shell on or to scrap it for its metal value.
I once went to a scrappy for one headlight for free, then went back to get the other and had to pay for it! So it can even vary with the mood of the owner!
