Hello I'm a new member and I'm looking for some advice and info

Recently I got myself a 2002 discovery td5 es , I just wanted to take this time to have a chat about front bumpers on d2 ,mine is broken on corner and been looking to replace it however looking around I'm looking anywhere between £150 upwards but I cant justify on spending that much on a bumper is there a cheaper alternative... maybe I was wondering would a bumper fit from a range rover p38 I dont know the measurements but I have been offered 1 for £30 bargain compared to d2 bumpers so I was thinking has anyone else done anything like this before so I would appreciate your thoughts about this.

Welcome to the mad house!!

In all honesty, I can't say if a P38 bumper would fit or not, but i doubt it. A new 'OE' bumper would set you back well over £300, and good undamaged bumpers hold their value, so anything under £150 probably isn't a great option.
What will your planned usage be? If you're thinking of green laning etc, then it may be worth looking at an aftermarket heavy duty bumper (winch or non winch bumper). again, prices will usually start at around £150, and increase with the better quality ones.

I will add though, owner a Landy is highly addictive, and once you start modding it, you'll always find something you want to add. But my tip, don't scrimp of cheap parts, buy quality and it'll last.
