Evening all, just a quick question and I know it's prob a stupid question, so I'm attempting to fix my dad's D2, he has a d2 with 3 amigos up on the dash board stating rear left and rear right corner valve power amplifier open circuit, he also has the exhaust valve power amplifier open circuit and I was wondering what can the cause of this being?

Dad also has a spare D2 for parts which are working fine just the chassis is completely rotten and nobody wants to do any welding to try to help him out or fix it for him.

So I was wondering if there anyone out there in Moray in Scotland that could possibly help him out with that problem?
AND:-
does anyone know if a 2002 range rover abs sensors would fit onto a d2 at all??
Sorry for the questions as I make myself look stupid sometimes but being a chef myself and trying to do ABIT of mechanicing for my dad whose 79 is quite tough to say the least so any help would be grateful or advice as I'm not specialist

Hi. Those fault codes have nothing to do with 3 amigos cos they are about SLS ... was it converted to coils? ... you need a more reliable diagnostic tool to read the fault codes

RR ABS sensor would not work for a D2

That's grand, so dad bought himself the icarsoft tool is there anyway in there if disabling the suspension to let it run on coils or how would I go about getting rid of the lights and leaving it right for a MOT without having to cost a arm and a leg getting something else bought for it? Or does anyone in Moray have a tool for getting rid of the lights if the icarsoft isn't able to be used to remove the SLS and lights on the dash??

Now i'm confused, is it about "3 amigos" or the SLS? ICarsoft used to be reliable with SLABS fault codes but that's about max it can do for a D2 so if you have the 3 amigos and only those suspension codes there is a more complicated issue.... eventualy post a pic with the warning lights on the dash and the options in Icarsoft's ABS meu
