All, i have a 90 station wagon and would like to make the back a bit tidier and overall warmer

ive been looking at the cost of the internal plastic trim and even 2nd hand they are expensive :( so i was wondering about making my own trim to go round the windows out of ply then lyingly it with some carpet

has anyone done this? i can find lots of pics of van backs / 110 trucks kitted out for camping but looking to see if anyone has a pic of maybe a Ply lined job around the windows just to get an idea to see what others have done

thanks

Colin

Its sh1t trying to get proper trims for the back I held on and eventually got lucky and won some cheap trims
Remember that by the new year it will kill off the odd persons finances and it's a good time to buy, I'd get the right trims then you know they'll look and fit easily

get some 6mm ply and some veltrim!

i did my sides rear roof and recovered my front roof lining made a big difference!

I think 12mm stable matting, if cut well, would make a good job of this. I've used the thicker 17mm version for flooring and the hammered version gives a nice neat finish. Cheap as chips too.
