can cruise control be fitted to a freelander as easy as it was to my disco 2
can it be just a new steering wheel ,switches etc

On a freelander 2 you need new steering wheel switch and the config updated to reflect cruise control is fitted.

I'm looking at adding Cruise control to my Freelander 56 Reg 2.0Td4 automatic, was it just a new steering wheel and the "motorway" switch or more to it

hi

i retrofitted cruise on my FL1 TD4 auto

you’ve got to first see if the cruise control ecu plug is under the drivers seat

As above. Make sure the harness is there, I believe it should. If so, you'll need the CC main switch, a programmed CC ECU and the steering wheel controls. The CC ECU is best got from a scrappy and must be for the TD4. A new ECU would need programming, hence use an old one. ;)

am i right in thinking you can retro fit cruse control in an auto but not a manual?
