not easily. it's not just a case of adding the bits and away you go, the ecu needs enabling by a dealer and so on, certainly for the td4.

there's been a few threads about it, one guy did have a fair amount of success by fitting an aftermarket kit.

Hi R1cky,
As OP says it ain't easy! :scratching_chin:
I did a lot of looking round for info on retro fitting the original set up and then went the aftermarket route.
It all went in ok and uses original steering wheel switches and dash light, via a home made adapter box. :D
It's been working ok for a couple of years now, no trouble with declaring it on insurance (it is a mod) and stops the right foot fallin' off when doing the long M/Way trips. :crazy_driver:
See this thread for details of what I did. http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f9/freelander-cruise-control-help-needed-please-41525.html
It can be done but it ain't easy. :):)

The attached will give you a feel for what's involved.
Quite a few of the aftermarket systems are the same - made by TDK and badged.
No problem declaring on insurance as a mod.:):)
