What common owner 'improvements' you see that really set your teeth on edge.
One I see a lot I think looks particularly awful is body colour painting the rear pillar, mostly sports but other models too.

Why can I only give this post 1 like - it needs like a billion x infinity......

:) - I remember your video about them, and thought the same about that - 20 gazillion likes deserved !! - they are a flippin abomination. One of our (distant) neighbours has one - I see it occasionally from part of the farm .... I never know whether to laugh or vomit :D

Id love an évoke.... It provokes a grip on modern technology and a need to move with the times on a modern and ever changing time and motorists needs......

Fück that shït!!!:p

what owner improvements set my teeth on edge...

huge wheels with low profile tyres

the words 'coils' in the description with the added crap of claiming to improve the unreliable air suspension

indeed that’s also one of my pet hates seeing low profiles on a 4x4

also read where some have bought a set of wheels/ tyres that where originally fitted onto RRS off ebay , then fitted them onto a D3 and then realising the tyre sidewall rating is incorrect

or some who think fitting a RAI allows them to go swimming , expensive lesson , Glug ! Glug ! Bang !!!!!!!!!

oh, oh and bloody body kits

Special torture should be reserved for L322 headlights bodged on to a P38.
The Sport front wing side grilles also added to a P38 never look right - I think Simmonites were quite fond of doing this to either their used P38s or Disco 2s.

hold onto ur breakfast , !!!!!!!!

christ almighty , just seen this on another forum and makes me want to weep, never seen low profiles that bad

he wants to remove the air suspension and fit coils, criminal , imagine the ride is better on a steam roller

those sidewalls look about a 40 , 22 inch rims

got some AT/3 cooper 235/70/17 on mine and must admit air suspension is extremely nice

 Doubt it could be worse ;) ................... :D

quite agree , what a shame , apart from the wheels would take those side steps off as well

also just thought ,( yeh i know doesn’t haven very often ) , if that’s fitted with xenons headlights surely the self levelling will have to be sorted out if converted to coils, seeing u don’t need self levelling with air suspension

or shall i just get my coat ;):D

It absolutely will - the owner needs a good slap with the C&U regs - Just another reason to not trash it with round irony "things" :p:p:p ( to him ;) ). :D

lol, pheeew, actually got something right for a change ref the lights

prefer rock sliders , however seen pics of them after a few years , coating starts to peel off

wonder how far it would get up a greenlane before destroying a tyre , oh hang on , rims would already be ruined on a pothole:rolleyes:

surprised door handles and mirror covers arnt chrome, lol , imagine those tyres/ rims would be around 2k

I would gladly drive the steam roller all day long and love every second but would not drive the disco any ware.
