Evening All
I've a 2001 TD4 and today as I was looking around the engine to familarise myself with as I'm going to doa oil and filter's change I noitced it looks like a rubber section was missing from a metal pipe at the top rear right of the engine and the Crackcase Filter (looks like a old style inline fuel filter). Now I am familiar with the bmw engine as I had a Rover 75 cdti but it didn't have this extra filter just the pcv bog roll...so I've connected a rubber tube to between the two but do you think any damage has been done due to this missing pipe & I'm looking at doing the BMW mod so would I be ok just connecting the pipes together without the extra filter.
Thanks
Martin
