If its the front crankshaft oil seal then its pretty easy, I did this during the summer and theyre pretty cheap to buy. Is it front or rear seal.

Hi duggie121, I'm assuming it's the front seal. If it is try www.seriesrover.com for a breakdown of the job (far better than the inane ramblings of haynes)
Front crankshaft oil seal part number #213774 (2286 Petrol & Diesel)
" " " " " " #516028 (2.6 6cyl Petrol)

i think i might have a front seal lying about..i know i got a rear one so if you'd like i'll send it to ya! at postage cost
