Hi peeps.
Just back from a week in Corsica.
I went last May with a mate, purely to drive the off road tracks. But whilst there, thought I need to come again with my gal.
The whole island is totaly stunning.Even if you don't venture off road.
One track I didn't find in May last year was the piste des Seigneurs......Well......I found it this time. What a brilliant track.
Look it up on Youtube, lots of footage of it.
The highligts for me would be.
Piste des Seigneurs....Obviously.

Cap Corse....For the stunning empty sandy beach/bays where you can camp 10m from the sea.
Bonifacio.Stunning harbour & walled old town.
Here are a few pics.
Hope you enjoy.
Marc.

HI ogb,
I researched all the off road tracks on Wikiloc.
But after my first Corsica trip May 2017,which was to drive as much off road as possible.I soon realised that Corsica has a lot more to offer than great off road tracks.
As is usual, most tracks can be driven in a standard Land Rover.Personaly,I like to search out tracks that are a bit more challenging.
Seigneures definately falls into this catagory.I have diff lockers on my 90,which were used on 3 occasions on the climb up Seigneures, though, that was due to the weather being wet,so the rocks & roots were very slippery. You can do it as a loop from,Taglio Rosso, via Bocca d'Illarata & back to Taglio Rosso.
The Desert de Agrigates is less challenging, but very nice to drive, with a stunning secluded beach at the end.....Oh,& an OK,if basic campsite.
There is a great track, which traverses the Cap Corse East to West, with amazing views over both sides from the top.It starts at Sisco,& finishes at Ogliastro.
Enjoy!
Marc

Hi Sharky964, looking at travelling to Corsica either late June or late August, are you allowed to wild camp?
