Hi!

I need to check if the connector is working (no rust, not bent pins) and if there is some juice at all on it, but it is a delicated business and I would love to know what pins do what exactly.

By the way, it would be great to know if someone attempted to dismount the whole set of speakers sitting on top of the CD Changer to find the connectors. I checked the fuses F1, F8, F9, F14, and F15 (F14 reinitialised the radio) but still NO PACK, no luck when I try to use the CD CHanger!!

When I depress the Eject button, nothing happens, no noise, nothing!

Thank you for your timely help as I am about to leave for a big trip with the P38!:crazy_driver:

On my Clarion diversity if you press the mode button from radio it says "No pack" then changes to CD. If i press the button twice it will say "No pack" then go to CD. Only time it did not work was when the multi plug on the CD player had a bad connection. Contact cleaner cured that. To be honest don't know what the "No pack" refers to unless it is the tape player. http://p38arover.com/rover/p38a/Clarion_PU9836A.pdf

Fantastic! Thank you. It means that the "No Pack" would be the cassette player, and that it is not the CD player. It would mean that it does NOT even detect the CD player and in that case that it is either defective or not connected.
