G'day all,
There must be a repair for this on the forum somewhere but I can't find it. One connector that is soldered to the rear window heater has fell off. There is little silver left on the glass to re attatch to; it would appear that water has got between the glass and the large silver joining area and has loosened the bond. Has anyone tried to repair this or is it a new bit of glass? :(
 
You can get conductive paint,for repairing heated rear screen tracks. ( Maplin Order Code: N36BA )This would probably join the connector, but not very strongly so I would cover it with araldite afterwards.
 
top tips MHM and ianda12. Just make sure you clean the contacts and glass with methylated spirits before you start, or it won't stick very well.
 
Hi All,
My Deafeners rear high level brake light is missing a window connector/contact. anyone know where I can get one/part number? It's the metal connector that sticks to heating element/glass?
