Back to my P38 97 4.6 HSE. If my A/C needs recharging would the condenser fans run continuously when the ignition is switched to position 2 without the engine running? It's not very cold at the moment.
What would cause an Alternator Fault message alternating with the battery charge warning light when the ignition is switched to position 2 without starting the engine? I have cleaned earth points as per the ETM, plus the smaller ones under the coolant header tank and under the panel by the bonnet release.
