Sorry guys...

here goes.

AIR COMPRESSOR 50 LTR NEW PETROL ENGINE 5.5 HP REDUCED | eBay
I can't seem to find ailines and fitting for 3/8" but there are plenty of 1/4" up for grabs.
I have been looking for suppliers local to me so that i can go and have a chat and see what i need but none comes up on my searches.
SO>
Can anybody help me with supplier details please for the 3/8" ?
Also is it ok to to reudce the airline size from 3/8" to 1/4" in order to have better access to tools and equipment such as spray guns hoses and fittings?

Trust me to order something then cant find the bits to go with it. I went with petrol to do away with electric feed problems no it seems i have another.
The compressor supplier only deals in thee compressors.

Thanks for any help you may provide.

simply reduce the necessary items to 1/4 simple fix . i just fitted a 1/2 to 3/8 on my compressor then down to 1/4 for final output works great . did it today along with a new pressure switch and unloader valve .

Thank you Autogas,

I havn't got a clue.....lol
All i know is i bought a compressor cos i fed up with the electric power issue.

I contacted the company where i bought the compressor and i was told its a standard 3/8 connection.

So what im getting is a compressor with a hole in it i suppose to put a fitting then attach other stuff from there.

Do i need to order 3/8 hose?
Does the 3/8 refer to the internal diameter of the hose required?

Something are so simple when you how.....lol

I was thinking of getting
3/8 fitting that goes into the air tank
A 3/8 connector Quick release to the tank fitting
3/8 Hose
Another 3/8 connector for the end of the hose
An adaptor that will fit the 3/8 end of hose so i can then use the most popular fitting for tools or accessories...there seems to be a lot tools with 1/4 fitting for sale on the internet.

That sort of sounds right to me.

Make the compressor pcl xf fitting, then use this for all stuff

Most tools just come with a threaded hole.... 3/8s surprisingly
