Is anyone aware of what compression figures I should get? Thread sizes for glow plugs and injectors would be helpful too thanks.
 
I believe m12 x 1.25. Dont know about injector adapters but I think you'd be much better off using the glow plugs so you don't keep disturbing the sealing washers.
You need at least 230ish to go bang. 400 is very good. More than 70 variance across the cylinders is bad. Depends on the gauge but in the 300s should be ok.
 
High 300s minimum for a healthy lump. Mine was 420 after a rebuild .before the rebuild my highest was 360 lowest was 290 iirc and it ran ok, bit smokey and lazy to start but ok. After the rebuild it didn't even need glows for a cold start. Use the glow holes for the tester as mentioned.
