I've just fitted a CommonRail sensor chip with the intention of improving fuel economy...:confused:
Well, it hasn't improved the economy but it has transformed the engine! Lots of low end torque so it doesn't stall during off-roading (a real problme for me moving from Discos to Freelander) and none of that 'death pause' when you pull out in traffic.:D
Hurrah! Everyone should get one. Got mine form Germany off Ebay, took 10 minutes to fit and the insurance company didn't load the premium.

One word of advice: make sure that the one you choose dosn't boost the rail or turbo pressures above the maxiumum tolerance limits.
