I know externally the TD5s shared nothing in common with D1s, but are the internal measurements similar enough to allow me to put (bodge) a D2 commercial bulkhead in my D1?

D1 bulkheads seem to be non-existent these days, but plenty of D2 ones knocking round fleabay, and at what I think reasonable prices.
