its finally coming home..

the landy is all but finished and will be bringing it home on saturday..

finally fitted the alpine lights tonight and mounted the waffle boards on the rear..

couple of little bits to do on saturday,like bonnet catch and wingtop vents and then its finished thank fook..

so would i do it again?...no feckin chance its a lot of work..

will post piccys on saturday..

had a good bargain on ebay earlier,brand new goodwinch 12mm bowrope and aluminium hawse the last one i paid £195 won this one for £100.99p
so it looks like i can replace the rear winch wire rope sonner than expected..:)
 
Look forward to that :) ..... did you just cut off the 3 bolts at the plate (that held the old spare wheel) when you fitted your swingaway spare wheel carrier? I will be fitting one soon as my 265/75/R16 is a bit heavy for the rear door. Straight forward job?
 
JC - the carrier should unscrew from the inside.

Have you thought how you are going to get it up the stairs with you of a night? :) Top job, well done! Any alterations inside? Switches etc?
