So, I was told that my '99 110 colour was 'Epsom Green'...hmmm, after three coats and a couple of coats of lacquer it just doesn't look right (a bit light than the rest of the panels) - either it needs a few more coats or the colour isn't right. There's nothing on the vehicle that helps, VIN badge doesn't have a colour code on it ... Is there any other way I can establish what colour it is?

Ta!

You could if all else failed remove a small part that is coloured (the rear light covers in the tub are good for this) and take it to you local paint shop to be able to colour match. If they are good they should then be able to then tell you what colour it is based on the colour match readings.

See what I mean....? Door looks lighter than the rear quarter panel.

I think I am going to go stick with the Epsom Green and give it another couple of good close coats and see how it goes.
